Use the unexpected as an opportunity to make your work even more spontaneous and exciting. Your job as an actor is to be flexible and adapt quickly. If you find you are easily thrown off at auditions, you simply need more practice and stronger preparation to allow yourself to react fully in the moment to what is actually going on as opposed to what you think should be going on.
