Show up early so you can center yourself before you go into the casting office. Take a walk around the neighborhood thinking the thoughts of the character i.e. what your character wants to accomplish; obstacles your character faces and then take some time to focus on your breathing. Slow down, focus and get ready to play.

Once you sign with your agent, your work is just beginning. You can’t just sit and wait for them to call you. You must develop a healthy working relationship, so your agent thinks of you for everything you’re right for and you must continue to find acting opportunities on your own and keep your agent informed. If you don’t do these things with your current agent, you’ll have to do them with your next agent.
